Seeking Escapism from daily life a street drug called “Harmony” engulfs the tri-state of NY, NJ, and PA in a way that dwarfs the crack and heroin epidemics of eras past. It is said that the drug helps one not to feel the pain of depression and anxiety but also robs one of feeling anything. The addiction and overdoses ravage every community demographic and reach all levels of the socio-economic ladder. The dead wash up on shore, are found in alleys and are discovered in homes frozen in their last actions in life.
Sensing the epidemic and the associated crime spree may be the result of a devious machination, a collection of 8 citizen strangers of varying morality have their lives inadvertently intersect as each begins to give credence to a philosophy in their own way that society and its recent controlled chaos are being manipulated and managed by undisclosed Agents.
These Agents mean to use social discord to obscure their ultimate nightmarish plan: An attempt at immortality for a select segment of the wealthy and powerful populace by using the poor and underclasses as organ farms. In a race to disrupt the plot, and uncertain of how to obtain and inform the greater citizenry with tangible and credible proof, the 8-citizen stranger’s journey into their own souls to find out what they are willing to sacrifice for the continued survival of the society, and if self-preservation and the chance at survival for the individual outweigh the needs of the species as a whole.
